Actually this might be the popular kopitiam at night. But do you go before in afternoon? Actually the location is same but just different peoples operate. Anyway, what's the popular meal in their list was the "Sour Spicy Soup" which contained of a lot of tomatoes and spicy item inside. It might make you fresh after ate! If you can't eat spice, you might be sweat on head...

Next, we had also a plate of Hokkien Fried. This plate of meal suit everyone included children. My little cousin Keegan also like this meal very much. Actually it worths at the price, the ingredients were match with the noodles that provided. The taste not bad, I like it!
Fried Rice
Then, we also ordered a plate of fried rice. I damn like the fried rice which gave me a good taste on it... The different style of cooking and the ingredients put inside were suit the plate of meal. You can feel that most of the meals they will put the fried fish pieces. I love that very much!
Fried Bihun
In this plate of fried bihun, you can see that two big prawn were in the photos. That's why I say this meal is worth it. Besides that, they also put a lot of bihun going to fried with the special sauce. The good maintaining of gas fire produce out the good cooking... I really admired at the chef who able to handle his fire.

Anyway, if you live Sungai Ara or pass by Sungai Ara, you should take a try.

Mothers' Day buffet lunch @ Wonderland Restaurant

Buffet
Welcome to the first post of HouLiao avenue after rebranding since yesterday. First of all I would like to greet everyone happy 1st of June and for those students happy holidays.

In the passed mothers' day, how did you celebrate? Brought your mum to restaurant for 'big dishes'? Or tiny present? Or anything? For me, I was take the advantage from my dad. Actually we were invited to the Wonderland Restaurant which at Komtar Level 11th and have a buffet lunch via award banquet by Yeoh Si Association. So we took the free buffet lunch! =)
Wonderland
Salad
There was a plate of salad made and put on the table and there was self serving.
Bak Kut Teh
The bak kut teh ingredients was there ready and you can just put up the bak kut teh soup with the ingredients. By the way, the bak kut teh was not bad and the taste was something similiar with outside selling.
Buffet#2
Here is the main plate of the dishes, it contains fried rice, fried mee, fried chicken, cooked vegetables, some fried food and many more.

But actually the food there taste not bad and budgetable. It's suitable for budget lunch! RM15 for one person and you can eat a lot! I think the place was not suit those who needs the good environment for eating. Although the food was not so 'high class' but for me there was full that enough! It's not bad. =) Posted by GenYong 01.06.2009

Kuey Teow Soup at Jalan Nipah

Last Monday, my sister was going to Phor Tay High School for making registration. After complete the registration we went to the nearby house business stall for having our breakfast/lunch. When you travel along Jalan Nipah(behind the Silver Jubilee old folks home), you will see a stall called Corner 21 which selling Kuey Teow T'ng in the residence houses. There was the place where I went!
Corner 21
This the front view of the stall. Can you imagine that where is it? If you can't, you might be dropped by Taman Lip Sin and ask people for direction. I ensure that they will know the location and bring you there!
Kuey Teow Soup #1

Kuey Teow Soup #2
This bowl of Kuey Teow Soup cost RM2.00 if not mistaken. I think the price is comfortable and cheap as nowadays everything is hiking up the price! The cooker also put a lot of the ingredients inside and the soup that we have seems so sweet in taste. No need to put the soya sauce also can eat ready. Not so salty and not tasteless too!

I rated for this stall 8/10, what's your rating anyway?

Lunch @ Sungai Ara Old Kopitiam

Last Sunday after we visit our new house @ Pearl Garden, we went to the nearby old kopitiam to have our lunch. I seldom go out for lunch, I think this is the first post that I need to label as lunch. LOL. I always go out with family for dinner but lunch no la! Actually Sunday I didn't have lunch. I used breakfast as lunch, because I sleep until very late.

This lunch is my uncle suggested because of he was hungry on that day! LOL. So my dad brought us to the nearby old kopitiam to have a 'cheap and nice' lunch there!
Where is it?

Stall Bannner
The stall banner and the big banner at the roadside. You seen this before at Sungai Ara?
Order List #1

Order List #2

Order List #3

Order List #4
The order lists of the stall! You can now get ready what you want to order and write in a memo for the cooker! LOL. Really true, you can refer to it!
Spicy soup!
Here is the popular meal of the stall! The spicy soup! That's really spicy and sour. While it come on, you must be careful because of it is hot and spicy! In the soup contains of some pieces of fish! They put the onions family on it and cooked it for many hours that I think!
'Shao Bo Tao Hu'
The 'Sha Bo Tao Hu' is my family favourite. This meal suitable for kids that I like too! It can mixed with white rice and it taste nice and delicious! Hmm....
'He Ko' meat
The meat that I first time ate! According to my dad, this plate is called fried 'He Ko' meat. It just like chicken and fish, but that's is not chicken or fish that you think! One type of meat, nice taste you can try it out!
Fried Egg
The simply fried egg with onions! This seems a simple dish, but do you know how to do it? XD!
Fried Vegetables
My favourite vegetables is 'Cai Tak!'. Every time I went to orient restaurant, i sure must ordered this plate of vegetables. Many people like it too! You must be early to prevent the vegetables 'sold out'!

Overall this lunch let me get a conclusion. This place is not so suitable because it might be hot in afternoon! But the dishes is really delicious! This stall is open from 8am-3pm. If you want to taste it, the suitable time is around 11am! This is afternoon session, evening session is other stall that next to it!
