Dim Sum @ Maxim Restaurant, Sg Dua

Hey guys,
I am GenYong here to make my first post after the food blog combined together. Anyway, now let me post up some photos of Dim Sum which I ate at the Maxim's Restaurant. It's located at Sg Dua which called Taman Pekaka(near Penang Tesco Extra).

Dim Sum 1
I loves the crunchy yam. This dish was made by the yam which fried with some meats to make it tasty. Then the chef used some flour to cover the surface and fried until crunchy... Rate 8/10
Dim Sum 2
Most of the people called Chai Tao Kuey, which direct translate become carrot cake... XD! I have no idea English called what in this dish. In which restaurant you are, you sure will order this plate of Chai Tao Kuey and eat together with the mayonnaise. Tasty.... 8/10
Dim Sum 3
The Siu Mai which pronounced in cantonese. I love this since I was small! This restaurant used the special machine to make those Siu Mai steamed until soft and tasty. I like the softness and I can feel a bit Q when ate it.
Dim Sum 4
Small cabin baos.. Although it's not a popular restaurant in here but I think it taste not bad. It can be fight with the Dragon-i where popular for small cabin baos...
Dim Sum 5
A plate of Chee Cheong Fun which steamed with the sauce. It's not like the normal sauce which feel sticky.. I love the soup and the Chee Cheong Fun was steamed until soft. When you touch it, you will accidentally break it...
Dim Sum 6
The prawn fried... I don't know how to explain! It mixed with mayonnaise will be tasty. 8/10
Dim Sum 7
Dim Sum 8
DimSum 9
As you can see there were a lot of SiuMai which we had ordered. Actually everything was same just the colour different. I have no idea why they put colourful, maybe attract the customers? Anyway, we still ordered a dish seems like SiuMai which contain of small piece of abalone. By the way, I don't think it's real! XD...

The Maxim's Restaurant located at:
Venue: Sg Dua Taman Pekaka(Bangunan Lip Sin)
Operate Time: Early in the morning until noon
Prices: See you order what!

Here is the map to guide after you!

双溪槟郎大树下-福建炒(Hokkien Char) @ Sungai Pinang

http://www.emocutez.com

今天,我们将会大家介绍一个位於Sg. Pinang的福建炒 (Hokkien Char)。

地点Sungai Pinang

Kuey Teow Soup at Jalan Nipah

Last Monday, my sister was going to Phor Tay High School for making registration. After complete the registration we went to the nearby house business stall for having our breakfast/lunch. When you travel along Jalan Nipah(behind the Silver Jubilee old folks home), you will see a stall called Corner 21 which selling Kuey Teow T'ng in the residence houses. There was the place where I went!
Corner 21
This the front view of the stall. Can you imagine that where is it? If you can't, you might be dropped by Taman Lip Sin and ask people for direction. I ensure that they will know the location and bring you there!
Kuey Teow Soup #1

Kuey Teow Soup #2
This bowl of Kuey Teow Soup cost RM2.00 if not mistaken. I think the price is comfortable and cheap as nowadays everything is hiking up the price! The cooker also put a lot of the ingredients inside and the soup that we have seems so sweet in taste. No need to put the soya sauce also can eat ready. Not so salty and not tasteless too!

I rated for this stall 8/10, what's your rating anyway?

Cheese Bun from Jusco Queensbay

Monday night, my family went to Queensbay Mall for the Christmas Shopping and we were looking some shirts for the coming soon CNY on 26th January. We walked around the shopping complex and go into many shops as well. F.O.S, Padini, Billabong and many more, but finally I bought a shirt in Jusco Department.

After complete the shopping and we were get set and back. It's around 10.30pm, there was few people in the shopping complex so the bread selling shop was reduce the bread price become half. So my mum decided to buy it for our next day breakfast. We bought a lot of bread and just only RM6.85. So the benefit is at the last you buy get more discount or even free! XD.

Cheese Bun #1
This was what I have on yesterday morning. Actually the way of eating this bun also important. According to my sister, she taught me that eat from the back and at the end you will get the cheese in a bun, really delicious.
Cheese Bun #2
The top view of this bun is just only a simple bun but inside the bun contains of cheese. I like cheese, do you like it? Actually this bun is more costly if you buy in the shopping time, but you buy before the shop need to clear stock that will be more cheap! Check out there is located at South Zone of Queensbay (next to Jusco basement). Posted by GenYong 17.12.2008
